Time Code Generator TCG 01
The Tekron TCG 01 provides a time synchronization solution with superb timing accuracy (better than 100 nanoseconds to UTC), designed for synchronizing multiple industrial control and SCADA devices, including protection relays and remote telemetry units.
Outputs are electrically isolated allowing outputs to feed directly to areas with different earth potential zones without compromising the overall site earthing security.
TCG 01 outputs include:
- 1 AM IRIG-B
- 2 TTL/RS422/ST fibre/HV switch (programmable signals)
- 1 RS232 (serial strings and programmable signal)
- Network Time Server
- 2 Event recording inputs

- P4 RS232 pulse/code output accurate to within 1.5uS of UTC
- 10mS resolution on programmed pulse durations
- Pulse durations programmable from 10mS to 24 hours with duration accuracy to within 100nS

Factory Options
Opt N: Network Time Server
NTP/SNTP & UDP Network Time Server function, featuring DHCP or programmable fixed IP address, SNMP supervision. This UTP network interface option allows TCG 01 to function as a Stratum 1 Time Server (simultaneously with all base unit i/o functions)
Opt L: Lightning Protection Kit
Includes protector unit plus cable connectors, tool for installation, and instructions - also available as a separately orderable item
Opt E: Event Recording Inputs
P6 Dual input 0-5V or 0-30V, refer to factory for details
Opt M: Multi Port Hub
Adds another 5 TTL/AM-IRIG outputs, and 2 inputs
