I am delighted that the past year was so successful for Tekron, particularly keeping in mind the turbulent times that we are in. You should also have received notification of the change of our warranty from 2 years to 10 years. This comes into effect for all products shipped after 1 April 2009. Extending the warranty to 10 years was our way of expressing how confident we are in the quality of workmanship and components in all our products. The Tekron TCG 08 Dual Clock is due for release shortly. The TCG 08, which is a 19” rack mount unit, contains two separate clocks, each with its own power supply and GPS antenna connection.
All Tekron clocks with displays are now being manufactured with the latest FSTN backlit displays. The contrast is much better than previously, so you will now be able to read the displays in any light and from a much more acute angle (50° as opposed to the current 20° ).
Many of you will know Marcel; he has one of the higher profiles at Tekron and spends much of his time on the phone to clients talking through their specific timing requirements - often well into the night.
