All Tekron GPS clocks can be programmed with simple rules for handling Daylight Savings Time (DST) - not a complicated list of dates and times.
With Tekron clocks, DST rule programming is intuitive and takes just a few mouse-clicks to complete. Once programmed, Tekron clocks will reliably switch in and out of DST on exactly the right date, and at exactly the right time - and they will continue to do this year after year with no further user programming needed.
But - what if the DST rules change? The good news is that, because Tekron Clocks are so simple to program, CHANGES to Daylight Savings Time rules (such as the DST changes imminent for the US) are a breeze.
With Tekron clocks, there is:-
NO NEED for firmware upgrade
NO NEED to revert to manual time changes
NO NEED to remove equipment from the rack
NO NEED to power down
Just plug in the configuration cable (one supplied with each clock), run up the configuration utility on your PC and make the changes needed.
Specification Tip
Protect your new GPS clock assets from early obsolescence. When specifying, be sure to include the requirement for generalized, rules-based DST functions that are easily changed by the user.
All Tekron's GPS Clocks satisfy this requirement.
